Kānehūnāmoku Voyaging Academy and the Office of Hawaiian Education are excited to partner to provide an exciting hands-on PDE3 experience centered around the waʻa and place-based education.  ​
Aloha kākou!  Here's what's coming up next! 
See you all on July 26 and 27! 
Time:  8:30 - 3:00
Location:  July 26 (Windward Community College) and July 27 (Kaalaea)
  • Make sure to complete Reflection 1 and Reflection 2 and complete the readings before our next session.  
  • Please bring your computers both days and your waʻa clothes on Tuesday.  Check you email for all the supplies you need. 
  • Be ready to work on your lesson plans!

What To Expect
Relating to COVID-19 protocols.  All personnel are required to: 
  • Undergo a health screening, we will take your temperature and ask you questions upon arrival and at check out.  
  • Wear appropriate face mask at all times.

Registration Instructions
  • July 26 - We will be at Windward Community College Hale Aʻo Room 106/107. Click here for a map of WCC.
  • Lunch and snacks will be provided.  All lunches have been pre-ordered for both days
  • July 17 - We will be at Kaalaea.  Please carpool or get dropped off as our parking area is limited.  Click here for address/parking.
